Junior MEP Quantity Surveyor

An MEP Quantity Surveyor manages the commercial, contractual, and financial aspects of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing installations in construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Quantity Take-Offs & BOQs: Prepare detailed measurements and Bill of Quantities for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems from drawings.
• Cost Estimation & Pricing: Build unit rates, formulate cost plans, and price MEP packages or tenders.
• Cost Control & Variations: Monitor project quantities against budgets, evaluate subcontractor quotations, and track variations or claims.
• Valuations & Reporting: Support interim payment applications, manage commercial reports, and assist with final account close-outs.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Typically 3 years of relevant quantity surveying experience, with regional GCC/UAE market background preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, and specialized measurement/cost software like CostX. Familiarity with measurement standards such as POMI or NRM.
• Soft Skills: Strong numerical, analytical, negotiation, and English communication abilities.

Pay: AED5,500.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
