JUNIOR MERCHANDISER

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. New Product Development

• Participate in new product development projects from sample stage to mass production.
• Coordinate and follow up sample development with internal departments.
• Prepare and participate in Pre-Production Meetings (PPM).
• Support Pilot Run activities and monitor trial production results.
• Follow up engineering changes, BOM updates, specifications, and customer comments.
• Ensure all required documents are completed before production starts.

2. Order Processing

• Receive and review customer Purchase Orders (PO).
• Create and maintain order information in the ERP system.
• Coordinate with Planning, Purchasing, Production, Engineering, Quality, and Logistics to ensure orders are executed according to schedule.
• Monitor production progress and proactively resolve issues affecting delivery.

3. Delivery Management

• Track shipment schedules and delivery status.
• Coordinate with Logistics and customers to ensure on-time delivery.
• Prepare and verify shipping documents when required.
• Provide regular order status updates to customers.

4. Customer Complaint Handling

• Receive and record customer complaints related to quality, delivery, or documentation.
• Coordinate with QA, Production, Engineering, and related departments to investigate root causes.
• Follow up corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Communicate investigation results and action plans to customers in a timely manner.
• Monitor complaint closure and customer satisfaction.

5. Communication & Coordination

• Act as the communication bridge between customers and internal departments.
• Maintain good relationships with customers through timely and professional communication.
• Support meetings, prepare reports, and update project status regularly.
• Perform other tasks assigned by the Merchandising Supervisor or Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Bachelor's degree or relevant coursework in Business, Merchandising, or Planning a related field is a plus.
• 1- 2 year experience (furniture is prefer)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic proficiency in using customer service and inventory management software.
• A passion for design and an interest in merchandising concepts.
