Junior MERN Stack Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.
• Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces and integrate them with backend APIs.
• Assist in developing RESTful APIs, database schemas, and server-side logic.
• Debug issues, fix bugs, and improve existing application functionality.
• Use Git and Git-based platforms for version control and team collaboration.
• Work with senior developers, testers, and other team members to deliver features.
• Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-structured code.
• Use AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar tools effectively, while understanding and validating the code they generate.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, documentation, and deployment activities.
• Follow established coding standards, security practices, and development workflows.
• Learn new technologies and adapt to evolving software development practices.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Understanding of React.js fundamentals, including components, props, state, and hooks.
• Basic knowledge of Node.js and Express.js.
• Familiarity with MongoDB and CRUD operations.
• Understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, status codes, and JSON.
• Familiarity with Git, GitHub, or GitLab.
• Basic understanding of asynchronous programming, promises, and error handling.
• Awareness of authentication, authorization, and common web security practices.
• Basic knowledge of debugging and testing techniques.
• Ability to understand existing code and make changes with guidance.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
