About the Role

We are looking for a Junior Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance Administrator to help manage the security of third-party CRMs, applications, and tools connected to our Microsoft 365 environment.

The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in Microsoft Entra ID, application security, and Microsoft 365 and can assess whether integrations are requesting appropriate access and identify potential risks to company and borrower data.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and assess third-party applications and integrations connected to Microsoft 365.
• Review Entra ID Enterprise Applications, App Registrations, OAuth consent, and Microsoft Graph API permissions.
• Ensure applications request only the access they need.
• Identify and escalate potential security risks or unnecessary data exposure.
• Maintain application review, approval, and documentation processes.
• Support Microsoft 365 security and compliance activities.
• Work with IT and business teams to ensure new integrations are securely configured.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in IT, Microsoft 365 administration, cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365.
• Familiarity with Enterprise Applications, App Registrations, OAuth, and API permissions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Ability to identify security risks and escalate issues appropriately.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps/App Governance or Microsoft Purview.
• Knowledge of Identity & Access Management (IAM).
• Microsoft certifications such as SC-900, SC-300, or AZ-900.

This is a junior-level role and does not require advanced security engineering experience. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, security-conscious, and eager to develop their Microsoft security and compliance expertise.
