Job Title: Junior–Mid Level Backend Developer

Job Responsibilities:

Assist in designing, developing, maintaining, and improving backend applications using Java and related technologies.
Collaborate with the development team in implementing scalable, reliable, and maintainable backend solutions.
Participate in debugging, troubleshooting, testing, and resolving technical issues in backend services and APIs.
Help break down project requirements into manageable development tasks and complete assigned deliverables on time.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to support integration, deployment, and system improvements.
Learn and utilize backend frameworks, APIs, tools, and internal systems as required by ongoing projects.
Prepare and maintain basic technical documentation, code comments, and development notes.
Continuously improve technical skills, adapt to feedback, and follow coding standards and best practices.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any related field is preferred.
0-4 years experience
Open to fresh graduates, career shifters, and candidates with backend development experience.
Basic to intermediate knowledge of Java programming and Object-Oriented Programming concepts.
Familiarity with backend frameworks such as Spring or Spring Boot is an advantage.
Basic understanding of RESTful APIs, web applications, and backend architecture.
Knowledge of relational databases and SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL, Oracle, etc.) is a plus.
Exposure to Git, version control, or collaborative development workflows is an advantage.
Willingness to learn new tools, frameworks, and technologies.
Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Willing to work onsite in BGC, Taguig City, and render overtime when required.

Preferred Skills /qualifications:

Exposure to microservices architecture
Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, or Angular
Experience from internships, school projects, bootcamps, or freelance work
Familiarity with cloud platforms or CI/CD concept

Pay: Php18,000.00 - Php40,000.00 per month
