Job Purpose

To support smooth and efficient plant logistics operations, including material movement, dispatch coordination, inventory control, documentation, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound material movement at the plant.

• Support daily dispatch planning and ensure timely vehicle placement.

• Coordinate with transporters, warehouse, production, and sales teams.

• Monitor vehicle movement, loading/unloading, and dispatch schedules.

• Maintain logistics-related records, reports, and documentation.

• Track inventory movement and ensure proper material reconciliation.

• Support preparation of dispatch documents, invoices, e-way bills, and other logistics documents.

• Monitor transportation costs and support cost-control initiatives.

• Ensure compliance with company logistics, safety, and statutory requirements.

• Resolve day-to-day logistics and transportation issues and escalate critical matters appropriately.

• Generate MIS reports related to dispatch, transportation, and logistics performance.

  Required Skills & Qualifications

• 24 years of experience in plant logistics / warehouse / dispatch operations, preferably in a manufacturing industry.

• Good knowledge of logistics and transportation processes.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and basic ERP/SAP knowledge.

• Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced plant environment.
