Position Summary

Responsible for managing daily operations in a bonded warehouse handling movement of tobacco products (rokok) and alcoholic beverages (minuman keras) including confectionery from Public Bonded Warehouse to Duty Free shops within Johor area. The role ensures compliance with customs regulations, excise duty requirements, inventory accuracy, warehouse efficiency, and timely inbound/outbound shipments.

We will provide hands on training.

Key Responsibilities

1. Bonded Warehouse Operations

• Coordinate with warehouse staff for container unloading and loading activities
• Ensure FIFO/FEFO inventory practices are followed where applicable.

2. Customs & Excise Compliance

• Prepare and verify customs declarations, excise documentation, and import/export permits.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian Customs regulations for duty-suspended goods.
• Maintain accurate records for customs audits and inspections.

3. Inventory Control

• Monitor stock movements and maintain inventory accuracy
• Conduct cycle counts and stock reconciliations.
• Investigate stock discrepancies, shortages, and damages.
• Ensure all inventory transactions are accurately updated in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).

4. Logistics Coordination

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with declaration staff and warehouse staff.
• Ensure proper documentation for all stock movements.
• Resolve shipment delays and operational issues promptly.

5. Reporting & Documentation

• Maintain records of customs transactions, stock movements, and warehouse activities.
• Support internal and external audits.

6. Team Coordination

• Ensure adherence to SOPs, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct operational briefings and training when required.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Warehouse Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in bonded warehouse operations, customs and excise procedures, tobacco or alcoholic beverage including confectionary industry, supply chain and logistics management. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Technical skills
