Payroll Junior Associate

• Payroll Processing: Assists with collecting, validating, and processing payroll data across various software (e.g., QuickBooks, Dayforce, ADP).
• Compliance: Supports Sr. Payroll Associate in calculating deductions (CPP, EI, taxes) and preparation of statutory filings (T4s, ROEs).
• Bookkeeping Support: Prepares payroll journal entries, remittance reports, and other payroll reports for bookkeeping staff.
• Client Support: Responds to routine inquiries and assists client HR teams with payroll matters.
• Recordkeeping: Maintains payroll records and assists in the preparation of standard reports for audits and accounting.
• Systems: Assists in onboarding, testing payroll systems, and improving processes.
• Other: Other duties as assigned by manager.

Pay: $40,000.00-$44,000.00 per year
