WE ARE HIRING JUNIOR PHARMACIST

Metro Mind Hospital | Kalamassery, Kochi, Kerala

Metro Mind Hospital is looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. We welcome both freshers and candidates with relevant experience who are passionate about patient care, medication safety, and professional development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Dispense medications accurately in accordance with valid prescriptions.
• Verify prescriptions and ensure the safe and appropriate dispensing of medicines.
• Maintain proper stock levels, inventory records, and expiry-date monitoring.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of medicines as per applicable guidelines.
• Maintain pharmacy documentation, billing records, and medication registers.
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding medication-related queries.
• Educate patients on medication usage, dosage, storage, and precautions within the scope of practice.
• Follow hospital protocols, pharmacy regulations, and patient-safety standards.

ELIGIBILITY CRITIERIA

• Qualification: B.Pharm or D.Pharm from a recognized institution.
• Valid registration with the Kerala State Pharmacy Council, as applicable.
• Freshers are welcome to apply; candidates with 1 year of relevant experience are also encouraged.
• Good communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• A responsible attitude and commitment to patient safety.
• Candidates from Kerala are preferred.
