Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Product Planning to support the execution of product strategy through partner buys, assortment decisions and in-season trading.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Buying, Operations, Logistics and VM to support forecasts, stock flow, market activity, new store openings and store closures.
  • Build strong relationships with Franchise partners, providing clear analysis, recommendations and follow-up.
  • Communicate proactively across the Planning team, raising risks, issues and support requirements early.

Ownership & Team Contribution

  • Take ownership of designated partners, planning tools, reporting and actions, delivering accurately and deadline.
  • Support and guide Planning Coordinator, ensuring accurate data input and effective completion of agreed tasks.
  • Deputise for the Senior Planner where appropriate.

  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting, processes and ways of working to increase efficiency, sales, profitability and sell-through.
  • Support the development of planning systems and processes, including appropriate use of technology, AI and automation.

Decision Making & Influence

  • Use data and commercial understanding to identify performance movements, risks and opportunities and recommend appropriate actions.
  • Take ownership of planning and trading decisions for designated partners within agreed parameters.
  • Challenge partner requirements and proposed buys where supported by data and commercial insight.
  • Escalate material risks, decisions and issues to the Senior Planner in a timely manner.
