Junior Pre-Sales Engineer

About the role

This role involves providing expert technical guidance on data center technologies, including servers, storage, networking, virtualization, and cloud computing. You will collaborate with sales teams to design customized data center solutions, conduct product demonstrations, and act as a trusted advisor to customers while developing detailed proposals and documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Possess in-depth knowledge of data center technologies, including servers, storage, networking, virtualization, and cloud computing, to provide expert guidance to customers
• Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs and design customized data center solutions that align with their requirements, considering factors like scalability, security, and cost-efficiency
• Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the capabilities and benefits of proposed solutions, helping customers understand how they can meet their business goals
• Act as a trusted advisor to customers, offering technical insights, answering questions, and addressing concerns to build confidence in the proposed solutions
• Assist in creating detailed proposals and documentation that outline the technical aspects, pricing, and implementation plans for data center solutions, ensuring accuracy and alignment with customer expectations

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• A minimum of 1 year of pre-sales or sales engineering experience
• Intermediate-level presentation and communication skills
• Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Licensed Electrical Engineer (preferred)
• Experience in sales, pre-sales, customer-facing roles, or data center technologies is an advantage
• Knowledge of data center hardware and software solutions is an advantage
