Junior Production Engineer

We are looking for a motivated and technically sound Junior Production Engineer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting day-to-day production activities, monitoring production processes, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, monitoring, and executing daily production activities.
• Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to production targets and schedules.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Stores teams for smooth operations.
• Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machines, materials, and other resources.
• Monitor production output and identify process-related issues.
• Maintain production records, reports, and daily documentation.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety guidelines, and quality standards.
• Assist in identifying production bottlenecks and implementing corrective actions.
• Support process improvement and productivity enhancement initiatives.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and 5S practices on the shop floor.
• Assist senior engineers in troubleshooting production and machine-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and manufacturing procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Freshers are encouraged to apply.
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing and production processes.
• Good understanding of MS Office, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Willingness to work on the shop floor and in rotational shifts, if required.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and basic production planning.
• Basic understanding of quality control and workplace safety.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
