Junior Production Engineer

We are looking for a Production Engineer to manage and monitor day-to-day transformer manufacturing activities, including machine operations, winding-related processes, component assembly, and final product assembly. The candidate will be responsible for achieving production targets while maintaining quality, safety, productivity, and process standards.

Roles & Responsibilities :

• Plan, monitor, and execute daily production activities as per production schedules.
• Operate and supervise manufacturing machines used in transformer production.
• Ensure proper machine setup, parameter setting, and operation as per process requirements.
• Monitor machines such as winding, core cutting, drilling, pressing, bending, and other production equipment as applicable.
• Ensure proper handling and loading of raw materials into machines.
• Monitor production output, machine performance, rejection, and downtime.
• Identify machine/process abnormalities and coordinate with the Maintenance team for corrective action.
• Ensure operators follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
• Supervise and perform transformer assembly activities as required.
• Ensure proper core, coil, insulation, clamping, terminal, bushing, wiring, and accessory assembly.
• Ensure components are assembled according to approved drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• Monitor proper tightening, fitting, alignment, connections, and insulation practices.
• Coordinate with the QC team for in-process and final inspection.
• Ensure rectification/rework is completed properly for identified quality issues.

Required Skills :

• Knowledge of transformer manufacturing and production processes.
• Practical knowledge of machine operation and production equipment.
• Knowledge of transformer assembly and component fitting.
• Ability to understand engineering/electrical drawings and work instructions.
• Basic knowledge of electrical components, wiring, insulation, winding, and transformer construction.
• Knowledge of production planning, manpower handling, and shop-floor management.

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
