What they need
About the role
Large-scale events don't run on venues alone — they run on rooms. Hundreds, sometimes thousands of them, blocked, negotiated and contracted months in advance across Singapore's leading hotels and integrated resorts.
That's what you'll be doing.
You'll join a specialist team working on major international events hosted in Singapore, managing the accommodation side end to end: securing room allocations from our hotel partners on the best possible terms, building proposals for event organisers, and looking after delegates from first enquiry through to final payment.
You'll start with two weeks of full-time training in Barcelona, learning the systems, the commercial model and the way the wider team works — and meeting the international colleagues you'll be working alongside every week thereafter. Flights and accommodation are covered.
It's commercial, operational and relationship-driven all at once. If you've worked in hotel sales/ reservations or contracting and want to move to the buying side of the table, this is that move.
What you'll do
- Build and manage relationships with our hotel partners across Singapore, including the city's flagship integrated resort properties
- Negotiate and contract room blocks for major events, securing the fairest terms for the organiser
- Prepare proposals and quotations tailored to what each group actually needs
- Handle enquiries and bookings from both groups and individual delegates
- Resolve delegate issues quickly, working directly with hotel partners
- Draw up contracts and keep deposit calculations accurate and current
- Follow up on payments and keep the financial picture clean
What you'll bring
- Around 2 year in a similar role, or solid grounding in hotel reservations and contracting — Accommodation Project Manager, Hotel Reservations Manager or equivalent
- Working knowledge of Singapore's hotel landscape and the B2B events (MICE) industry
- Strong written and spoken English; a second language is a real advantage
- Confident with Outlook, Excel and Word
- Accuracy and rigour — deposits, allocations and contract terms leave no room for approximation
- Patience and adaptability. Events change. Room blocks change. Clients change their minds at 6pm on a Friday
- Willingness and eligibility to travel to Spain for the two-week onboarding programme.
Why this role is worth your time
You'll start in Barcelona. Two weeks of structured, paid onboarding at our client's European base — proper training, not a slide deck and a login. You'll leave knowing the systems, the commercial logic and the people, which is a considerably better start than most jobs give you.
You'll work at real scale. Events that fill entire hotels — the kind of volume that's genuinely rare outside a handful of cities.
You'll see the whole cycle. Contracting, proposals, delegate management, deposits, collections. Not one slice of it. That breadth is exactly what makes a senior project manager a few years from now.
The team is small, international and hands-on. You'll be given real ownership early.
We will only accept applications from Singaporeans and Permanent Residents.
Other offers great for you!
