About the Role

We're looking for a Junior Project Manager to take full ownership of client software projects, with a particular focus on our US-based accounts. You'll be the sole PM on your projects, meaning you'll own delivery end to end: managing timelines, coordinating the development team, and being the primary point of contact for the client. This is a role with real autonomy from day one, not an assistant or support position. This role requires excellent written and spoken English, since you'll be communicating directly and frequently with US-based clients across time zones, calls, and written correspondence. Comfort and confidence working independently with international clients is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of assigned client software projects, including timelines, scope, and team coordination
• Act as the primary point of contact between the client and the internal development team, without a senior PM in between
• Run client calls independently, particularly with US-based stakeholders, requiring strong spoken English and the confidence to represent Sandlot professionally on your own
• Prepare and maintain project documentation such as status reports, meeting notes, and scope tracking
• Monitor project progress against timelines and proactively flag risks or blockers before they become problems
• Coordinate task and resource tracking using internal tools (e.g. Linear, Google Workspace)
• Identify and surface scope changes or issues directly with the client, with estimated impact, rather than absorbing them silently or letting them go unaddressed
• Build and maintain a healthy client relationship through honest, proactive communication
• Know when to escalate to leadership, since you'll be operating with autonomy but should flag anything materially outside your judgment

Requirements

• 1 to 2 years of experience in project management or project coordination, with demonstrated ability to take ownership of a project or workstream (experience in software or tech services is a plus)
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal. This is a critical requirement given that you'll be running client-facing communication independently
• Strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and comfort making decisions without constant oversight
• Comfortable working across time zones to accommodate US client schedules
• Familiarity with project management tools (Linear, Jira, Trello, or similar) is a plus
• Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle is a plus, though not required
• A proactive, no-drama communication style. Someone who surfaces issues early and handles them directly rather than letting them build up
