Junior Project Manager

Location: Makati City or Ortigas, Pasig City

Job Summary

We are looking for a Junior Project Manager to support and manage the successful delivery of IT projects from initiation through closure. The role will be responsible for coordinating cross-functional project teams and ensuring that projects are delivered within the agreed scope, budget, timeline, and quality standards.

The ideal candidate should have strong project coordination, communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across business and technical teams.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Form, lead, and coordinate cross-functional project teams, including Business, Technical, Operations, Legal, Procurement, and other stakeholders.
• Manage project activities throughout the complete project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and controlling, and closure.
• Work with business partners and stakeholders to clarify project requirements, objectives, business cases, and expected deliverables.
• Develop project documentation, including Statement of Work (SOW), project charter, and business case, and facilitate the necessary approvals and funding.
• Develop and monitor project work plans, timelines, milestones, and tasks required to achieve project objectives.
• Establish project control and reporting structures for effective risk, issue, and change management.
• Monitor project scope, budget, schedule, quality, resources, and other key project constraints.
• Identify, track, and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and changes.
• Conduct regular project status meetings with project teams, account managers, customers, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare and deliver project presentations and progress reports to management and key stakeholders.
• Develop and implement effective project communication plans to ensure timely and accurate information sharing.
• Oversee vendor sourcing and vendor management activities in coordination with relevant teams.
• Ensure project deliverables comply with applicable IT standards, policies, guidelines, and relevant regulatory requirements, including requirements applicable to financial institutions.
• Develop and implement project-level processes, procedures, and performance metrics.
• Conduct project closure activities, including post-project reviews, post-mortem sessions, CSAT surveys, and project team performance assessments.
• Maintain positive and productive working relationships with project team members, customers, vendors, partners, and stakeholders.
• Ensure proper documentation and knowledge transfer throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in project management, project coordination, or IT project delivery.
• Experience supporting or managing IT projects from initiation through implementation and closure.

Pay: Php40,000.00 - Php50,000.00 per month
