Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with Experience in Fire Fighting & Safety Products.

Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in estimation, proposals, related to fire-fighting products

Job Description

• Review customer inquiries, RFQs, BOQs, specifications, drawings, and tender documents.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates, quotations, and commercial offers for fire-fighting products and systems.
• Analyze BOQs and drawings and carry out quantity take-offs as required.
• Source and obtain competitive quotations from suppliers and manufacturers.
• Compare supplier offers based on price, specifications, availability, and delivery schedules.
• Select suitable products and brands in accordance with project specifications and customer requirements.
• Prepare technical submittals, product datasheets, compliance documents, and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with suppliers to obtain technical information, product certifications, pricing, and lead times.
• Coordinate with the sales team to clarify customer requirements and provide technical support during the quotation process.
• Identify and clearly state assumptions, exclusions, deviations, and alternative products in quotations.
• Maintain updated supplier price lists, product information, and historical quotation records.
• Follow up on submitted quotations and assist with revisions and commercial negotiations.
• Support the preparation of tender submissions and ensure all required documents are completed within deadlines.
• Coordinate with procurement and sales teams to ensure consistency between quoted and supplied materials.
• Maintain proper records of quotations, supplier offers, and project-related documentation.
• Must have previous experience in UAE/GCC with fire-fighting & safety products
• Familiarity with fire-fighting brands and technical product specifications.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) with good typing and documentation skills.
