Junior Purchasing Executive (F&B)

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Junior Purchasing Executive Fluenty Mandarin / Fresh Graduate. Your main role is to handle daily kitchen and outlet orders. The most important responsibility is ensuring all goods arrive strictly on time and preventing any stock shortage.

Job Scope:

• Daily Ordering: Process and issue purchase orders (PO) to suppliers through the system based on requests from the kitchen and outlets.
• Delivery Tracking: Follow up closely with suppliers on delivery times to ensure goods arrive on time. Plan and arrange orders early with the kitchen ahead of public holidays and festive seasons.
• Quality Check: Ensure delivered goods meet quality standards. Immediately contact suppliers to resolve any issues regarding rejected, damaged, or short-delivered items.
• Invoice Matching: Check and verify suppliers' Invoices and Delivery Orders (DO) against our POs to ensure consistency before passing them to the Finance department.
• Team Communication: Act as a smooth communication bridge between the kitchen (Central Kitchen), outlet managers, and suppliers.

Requirements:

• Education: SPM qualification or above
• Experience: 1–2 years of purchasing/procurement experience is preferred (F&B or hospitality experience is a plus). Proactive candidates are welcome to apply
• Language: Fluently Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia as this roles will required to liaise with our diverse client base and partners.
• Attributes: Able to work independently, possesses good teamwork, and has a strong sense of responsibility and urgency.
• Skills: Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Added Advantage: Familiarity with local F&B suppliers or cold chain logistics (handling chilled/frozen goods) is a strong plus.
