Junior Purchasing Specialist

This role requires hands-on purchasing experience and daily use of SAP, as well as the ability to manage supplier-related topics in an international, multi-regional environment

Tasks

• Operational support for existing suppliers and execution of defined purchasing activities.
• Preparation, follow-up and maintenance of RFQs, purchase orders and purchasing documentation.
• Maintenance of SAP purchasing master data and support for new part management.
• Support for price analyses, cost comparisons and purchasing-related project activities. Delivery tracking and support for material availability escalations.
• Support for supplier evaluations, supplier performance follow-up and supplier development activities.
• Support for product launches, engineering changes and purchasing-related change management. Invoice clarification in case of price or quantity deviations.
• Administrative purchasing tasks, reporting and preparation of internal purchasing overviews.

Expectations

• Relevant degree
• Fluent Hungarian and English language knowledge is required.
• Knowledge of purchasing, material management or supply chain processes is desirable.
• Good MS Office skills; SAP MM knowledge
• German language skills would be considered as big plus
• Interest in electronic, electromechanical and mechanical components and assemblies.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Ability to organise, assess, prioritize tasks, risks, resources, milestones and deliverables.
