Junior QA Engineer

EHB Technologies Limited is looking for a Junior QA Engineer to join our development team. The Junior QA Engineer will be responsible for testing software applications, identifying and tracking defects, performing regression testing, and collaborating with developers and project teams to ensure product quality and reliability.

The role involves working with functional testing, UI testing, automation testing, API testing, and bug-tracking tools while supporting continuous improvement of QA processes and testing standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform functional, regression, UI, and automation testing.
• Create and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and test documentation.
• Identify, document, and track software defects.
• Perform retesting and regression testing after bug fixes.
• Collaborate with developers and project teams to investigate and resolve issues.
• Verify fixes and ensure software meets defined quality standards.
• Perform basic API testing and validation where required.
• Communicate testing progress, defects, and test results to relevant stakeholders.
• Assist in improving QA processes, testing practices, and documentation.
• Support the team in maintaining consistent software quality standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in software testing or Quality Assurance.
• Basic understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes.
• Knowledge of functional and regression testing.
• Familiarity with Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright is a plus.
• Familiarity with Postman or API testing is a plus.
• Knowledge of Jira or similar bug-tracking tools is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with developers and cross-functional teams.
• Good communication and documentation skills.

Pay: Rs45,000.00 - Rs60,000.00 per month
