Junior QA Engineer

We are looking for a QA Engineer to join our team in Bucharest , working on a modern hybrid cloud infrastructure platform based on microservices and cloud native technologies.

🔹 Role: Combined Automation & Manual QA, approximately 50% automation / 50% manual testing

🔹 Location: Bucharest, Romania

🔹 Office presence: Working from the client's office 3 days per week

You will be involved in both test automation and manual testing , helping ensure the quality, stability and reliability of enterprise and edge infrastructure solutions.

🔧 What you will do

• Design, develop and maintain automated tests for API, UI and end to end workflows using Cypress

• Create and maintain manual test cases based on requirements and technical documentation

• Execute automated and manual tests for new features, bug fixes and system integrations

• Analyze test results and investigate failures through debugging and root cause analysis

• Work with logs, monitoring dashboards and system metrics to identify issues

• Collaborate with Development, QA and DevOps teams to improve test coverage and product quality

• Contribute to the improvement of the test automation framework

• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and coordinate testing activities within the team

💻 What we are looking for

• Experience with JavaScript and test automation frameworks, preferably Cypress

• Strong experience in manual software testing and QA methodologies

• Experience with REST API testing, HTTP methods and JSON

• Good understanding of microservices and cloud platforms

• Experience with Git, Jira and Confluence

• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V or VirtualBox

• Strong analytical, debugging and troubleshooting skills

• Experience working in an Agile environment

• Fluent English ( C1 )
