Junior QA Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in software testing, basic programming knowledge, and an understanding of web and mobile applications. This is an excellent opportunity for 2026 graduates looking to begin their career in Quality Assurance and Software Testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply appropriate QA methodologies to deliver high-quality software.
• Review software requirements and prepare detailed test scenarios.
• Design, create, and prioritize test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Execute manual and automated tests to validate software functionality, usability, and performance.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and coordinate with developers for timely resolution.
• Prepare test reports and maintain comprehensive testing documentation.
• Collaborate with Product and Development teams to understand new features and define appropriate test strategies.
• Perform bug testing and contribute to overall product quality.
• Follow testing practices aligned with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
• Troubleshoot issues, analyze root causes, and contribute to effective solutions.

Educational Qualification

Mandatory:

• B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering or related discipline
• MCA may also be considered
• Software Testing course/certification is mandatory

Desired Candidate Profile

• Fresher and 2026 pass-out only
• No previous academic year gap
• Basic knowledge of web and mobile applications
• Basic understanding of programming using Java or JavaScript
• Basic knowledge of SQL and databases
• Good understanding of software testing concepts
• Good English communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Attention to detail and willingness to learn

Additional Skills Preferred

• ISTQB certification will be an added advantage.

Candidate Location Preference

Candidates should preferably be from Pune, Nashik, Nagpur, Kolhapur, or other locations across Maharashtra, excluding Mumbai.
