Junior QA Engineer

Assist in understanding and reviewing product requirements and business processes to ensure they are clear, complete, and testable under the guidance of senior QA engineers.

Assist in preparing test scenarios, test cases, and testing documentation based on product requirements and business processes.

Perform manual testing of ERP software applications, including functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing for new features and existing modules.

Develop and maintain automated test scripts for selected test scenarios to improve testing efficiency and coverage, under the guidance of senior QA engineers.

Collaborate with QA engineers, developers, UI/UX designers, and analysts to clarify requirements, identify potential issues, and ensure features meet expected specifications.

Identify, document, and track software defects with clear reproduction steps and supporting information to assist developers in troubleshooting and resolution.

Perform retesting and regression testing after defects have been resolved, including executing relevant automated test scripts to ensure fixes work as expected and do not introduce new issues.

Assist in testing across development, staging, and production environments, and contribute to improving testing processes, documentation, and overall software quality.

Stay updated with the latest industry trends, testing methodologies, automation practices, and emerging technologies in software quality assurance.

Requirement:

Must possess a Bachelor's Degree: Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (Computer / Software), or equivalent with a minimum GPA of 3.00.

Having 0-1 years of working experience.

Passionate about software quality and web/application development.

Understanding of software testing concepts, including test cases, test scenarios, bug reporting, regression testing, and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Understanding of Web Application Development and basic database concepts.

Basic understanding of programming fundamentals and/or scripting.

Familiarity with API testing, automated testing, SQL and database testing, bug tracking or test management tools is a plus.

High level of integrity and ethics.

Fast learner with strong analytical and good problem-solving skills.

Detail-oriented and able to identify inconsistencies or potential issues.

Comfortable with ambiguity and failure, as well as rapid iteration.

Willing to be full WFO in Jakarta (Sudirman).
