Junior QA/QC Engineer (Manufacturing)

A well-established engineering and manufacturing company is looking for a QA/QC Engineer to join our team in Ulu Tiram, Johor.

Job Details

• Position: QA/QC Engineer (Junior)
• Location: Ulu Tiram, Johor
• Working Days: Monday – Friday, Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Basic Salary Up to RM3,100 + Incentive + Stable OT

Job Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure the quality of incoming materials and finished products.
• Conduct incoming, in-process and final inspections.
• Identify, record and follow up on quality issues and non-conforming materials.
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports and quality documentation.
• Follow up with suppliers on quality issues and corrective actions.
• Review quality documents such as FAI, Control Plans, Process Flow Charts and Test Certificates.
• Issue and follow up on NCR / SCAR when required.
• Support supplier and internal quality audits.
• Work closely with Production, Engineering and Purchasing teams to resolve quality issues.
• Support continuous improvement and quality-related activities.

Requirements

• Diploma in Engineering, Quality Assurance or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of QA/QC experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiar with ISO 9001 / Quality Management System (QMS).
• Knowledge of supplier quality, corrective actions and continuous improvement.
• Experience with FAI, Control Plan, NCR, SCAR or 8D will be an added advantage.
• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
