Junior QC Engineer

Job Responsibility:

Responsibilities-

· To be in charge of maintaining and improving overall quality of all manufactured products.

· Set quality requirements for incoming raw material or intermediate products from suppliers and monitor their compliance, and reduce the effect of non-conforming supplier materials on the production area quality.

· To follow all quality guidelines, laid out in QAP/ ITP and to help prepare WPS and PQR.

· To inspect product during various stages of manufacturing and maintain in process quality, and prepare the quality plan.

· To maintain all welder certification records, Quality Records of Inspection, and final QC dossier, and to ensure that all necessary systems and procedures are in place to satisfy all customer requirements and audits. Must represent the company for all ISO and ASME audits.

· To identify product non-conformance and re-inspect after satisfactory rework or repair.

· To ensure use of calibrated measuring devices.

· Offering product and producing documents & records to Third Party Inspection

Agency & customer during their inspection/review.

· To ensure that all in-house systems and procedures are updated, revised and modified to meet the needs of external certification bodies.

· Undertake internal and process audits of the Quality Management System (QMS), and to implement all relevant procedures described in the QMS and ensure compliance.

· To authorize product acceptance for the next stages process.

· Working with management teams to provide recommendations and solutions to quality issues, and to investigate root causes of defects and recommend solutions.

· To prepare & submit MRB / QC Dossier to clients / customers.

Job Requirements:

· Minimum of 3 years of experience as a QC engineer in a Process Equipment manufacturing plant.

· Must have in depth knowledge of process equipment – Coded Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Piping systems, Skid mounted Packages, etc.

· Must possess in depth knowledge of ASME Section VIII and Section IX codes.

· Must have knowledge of ISO 9001: 2015 Quality standard.

· Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Production Engineering.

· Excellent communication and analytical skills.

· Experience in dealing with customers and evaluating suppliers.
