uTest is looking for full-time Junior QA Engineers to join our team! This role is open to candidates who are able to work during standard business hours in the Philippines time zone, As a QA Engineer, you will be instrumental in guaranteeing the quality and reliability of our consumer-facing web and mobile applications
You will collaborate closely with our development and product teams in an agile environment, focusing on identifying, documenting, and resolving issues to deliver a seamless user experience, This is a 40-hour per week commitment where your contributions will directly impact our product's success, Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute comprehensive test cases and test plans for web and mobile applications, covering both new features and regression scenarios, Conduct detailed manual testing to identify and document functional, usability, and performance issues, Identify, report, and track defects; collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution, Support and contribute to test automation by executing automated tests and integrating different automation frameworks, Actively participate in agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, ensuring alignment on quality objectives, Communicate testing progress, results, and risks clearly, facilitating swift resolution of reported issues, Desired Skills:
Adaptability to quickly learn and work with various testing tools and frameworks, Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective defect reporting and collaboration, High attention to detail, with a keen eye for identifying subtle issues affecting product quality, Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to replicate, diagnose, and resolve issues effectively, Commitment to continuous learning, staying current with testing best practices and emerging tools, Relevant QA certifications (e-g
, ISTQB) and automation tool certifications are a plus, Recruitment Process:
