JUNIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents.
• Conduct on-site measurements and assist in preparing Bills of Quantities (BQ).
• Evaluate and compare subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Monitor project costs and assist in cost reporting and forecasting.
• Prepare progress claims, payment certificates, and final accounts.
• Support in contract administration including variations, VO, and claims.
• Liaise with contractors, consultants, and suppliers.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, project specifications, and health & safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant working experience, preferably in the construction or property development sector.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); knowledge of (AutoCAD) is an advantage.
• Familiar with Malaysian standard forms of contract (e.g., CIDB, JKR).
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Willing to travel to project sites within Sabah if required.
• Based in Kota Kinabalu or willing to relocate.
