Junior Quantity Surveyor

If you've recently completed your Quantity Surveying qualification after spending time on the tools, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing property development business where your construction knowledge will genuinely be valued.
  
Working across residential developments, townhouse projects and renovations, you'll be involved from the early pricing stages right through to project completion. It's a hands-on commercial role where you'll work closely with the Directors and gain exposure to every part of the development process.
  
The team is small, down-to-earth, and enjoys getting stuck in. There are no layers of management or corporate red tape, just good people building quality projects and looking for someone who wants to grow with them.

This role isn't just about measuring plans.
  
You'll be pricing projects, preparing estimates, reviewing drawings, managing variations, working with suppliers and subcontractors, and helping keep developments commercially on track. As your confidence grows, you'll also become a key point of contact for architects, engineers and consultants.
  
What we are looking for:  

• Recently qualified Quantity Surveyor or around 2+ years' QS experience
  • Previous carpentry or hands-on construction background highly regarded
  • Strong understanding of residential construction methods
  • Ability to read and interpret construction and engineering drawings
  • Experience with estimating or pricing beneficial
  • Strong communication and organisation skills
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Comfortable wearing a few hats within a growing business
