Junior Quantity Surveyor

Key Responsibilities

• Perform quantity take-offs based on engineering drawings, specifications and other relevant project documents.
• Assist in cost estimation and the preparation of Bills of Quantities (BQ).
• Assist in preparing tender documents, evaluating tenders and conducting cost comparisons.
• Monitor project costs and assist in preparing cost reports.
• Review and evaluate progress claims, variation orders and contractual claims.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications and contract documents to ensure accurate quantity measurements and cost assessments.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors and internal project teams on quantity surveying and commercial matters.
• Maintain accurate records of project costs, tender documents and contractual documentation.

Job Requirements

• Possess a Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.

• 1–3 years of relevant working experience. Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are encouraged to apply.

• Basic understanding of quantity take-off, Bills of Quantities (BQ).

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and contract documents.

• Possess good analytical, numerical, organisational and communication skills.

• Willing to travel to project sites when required.
