Junior Quantity Surveyor

Ø Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and material estimates based on architectural drawings, structural drawings and project specifications.

Ø Prepare and review Bills of Quantities, cost estimates, rate analysis and budget breakdowns for interior fit-out and construction projects.

Ø Measure quantities of materials, labour and work items required for project execution.

Ø Study drawings, specifications and tender documents to identify scope, quantity discrepancies, missing details and potential cost variations.

Ø Prepare cost estimates and quotations for proposed projects in coordination with the design, project execution and procurement teams.

Ø Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations from purchase team to support cost comparison and budget preparation.

Ø Coordinate with the Purchase & Inventory Manager to verify material quantities, specifications, rates and procurement requirements.

Ø Monitor project costs against approved budgets and identify cost overruns, savings opportunities and variations.

Ø Verify subcontractor measurements, work completion quantities and supporting documents before recommending certification or payment.

Ø Conduct site visits and coordinate with site supervisors and project coordinators to verify actual site measurements and work progress.

Ø Maintain accurate records of measurements, BOQs, cost estimates, rate analysis, variation statements and billing documents.

Ø Coordinate with the Accounts team for project cost tracking, billing reconciliation and supporting financial documentation.

Ø Prepare cost comparison statements and periodic project cost reports for management review.

Ø Identify opportunities to optimise costs without compromising approved quality, specifications or project requirements.

Ø Ensure all quantity calculations, estimates and billing records are accurate, properly documented and submitted within deadlines.

Ø Escalate significant cost variations, quantity discrepancies and budget risks to the reporting manager.

Support project completion by preparing final quantity reconciliation, final accounts and relevant commercial handover documentation.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
