JUNIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR

i) Prepare General Report.

ii) Prepare a Bill of Quantities.

iii) Prepare tender documents.

iv) Take off material quantity for the projects.

v) Taking off, preparing client & subcontractor’s claims.

vi) Prepare LOA with BQ for subcontractors.

vii) Visit all the sites for valuation for claim.

viii) Engage in collaboration with Clients and Authorities.

ix) Preparation for the meeting includes the compilation of a progress report on our slide presentations and the associated technical documentation.

x) Assist daily activity of site.

xi) Assist preparing work schedule for progress.

xii) Daily reporting about progress status to director/ manager & to client.

xiii) Assist handling ESH briefing to workers and sub contractor if necessary.

xiv) Inventory report - Tools

                                       - Machinery

                                       - Equipment

                                       - Material

xv) Ready to take new assignment given by superior.

xvi) oversee daily construction activities (earthwork, concreting, steel fixing, form-work, etc).

xvii) Ensure work is progressing as per the schedule and quality standards.

xviii) Coordinate with labour teams, foremen, and subcontractors.

xix) Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly work schedules.

xx) Ensure materials used conform to standards and specification.

xxi) Rectify or report non-conformance and defects.

xxii) Request and manage material deliveries based on the work schedule.

xxiii) Check quality and quantity of materials.

xxiv) Attend meetings with consultants, clients, and senior management.

xxv) Keep record of labor, concrete pours, inspection, etc.
