Junior Quantity Surveyor (Construction / A&A Projects)

About the role

This role involves quantity surveying responsibilities across pre-contract, post-contract, and procurement phases of construction projects. You will manage cost estimations, tender processes, project budgeting, claims evaluation, and commercial negotiations while supporting project teams and ensuring contractual compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare tender cost estimations, cost planning, and bill of quantities (BQ)
• Source quotations from subcontractors and suppliers
• Analyze quotations and prepare comparison reports
• Assist in tender submissions and pricing strategies
• Prepare tender clarifications and supporting documents
• Handle project budgeting, cost tracking, and cost control
• Prepare progress claims, variation orders (VO), and final accounts
• Evaluate and certify subcontractor claims and payments
• Monitor project cash flow and project financial performance
• Prepare and issue purchase orders and subcontract agreements

About you

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, or related discipline
• Minimum 2 years of relevant QS experience in Singapore construction industry
• Experience in A&A, renovation, or main contractor working environment
