Finarb's expertise includes data strategy, data engineering, predictive modelling, generative and agentic AI, NLP, computer vision and MLOps in areas such as clinical and operational analytics, demand forecasting, customer and marketing analytics, risk analytics and conversational analytics on enterprise data. About the Role:

Location: Calcutta, West Bengal | Employment type: Full-time | Reports to: Recruiting Manager

We're looking for a Junior Recruiter to help us find, engage and hire bright minds to join our team. You'll be responsible for the full recruitment cycle - from sourcing candidates to coordinating interviews and offers. You'll get the opportunity to work and learn alongside experienced peers and hone your own skills.

What you'll do:

• Source candidates through job portals, LinkedIn and referrals, then manage every applicant in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
• Screen resumes and hold initial phone or video interviews to get a sense of each candidate's fit and interest
• Coordinate interview schedules between candidates and hiring teams, making sure everyone stays in the loop
• Post and refresh job ads and ensure job descriptions stay accurate
• Keep candidate records current in the ATS and track pipeline metrics
• Assist HR Manager with reference checks and onboarding handoffs

What we're looking for:

• 1 to 2 years of experience in recruiting, HR, sales, customer service or a related area
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken
• Excellent organization and attention to detail; a smart multi-tasker is exactly someone we are looking for
• Well-versed with tools like Google Workspace or MS Office and a knack for picking up new software quickly
• A real interest in people and a desire to build a career in talent acquisition

Nice to have:

• An internship or some coursework in HR or business
• Familiarity with an ATS such as Greenhouse, Lever, Workday or Zoho
• Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter or Naukri
