About the Role

Next Hire Recruitment is looking for a motivated Junior Recruitment Assistant / Trainee Recruiter to join our growing recruitment business.

This is a junior, part-time role suitable for someone who wants to learn recruitment, candidate sourcing, sales, and basic recruitment administration. You do not need recruitment experience. If you understand sales, enjoy speaking to people, or have the right attitude, we are willing to train you.

Key Responsibilities

• Source candidates using job boards, LinkedIn, CV databases, referrals, and social media.
• Call and screen candidates for available and future job opportunities.
• Assist with building a talent pool for engineering, construction, finance, and accounting roles.
• Update candidate information accurately on spreadsheets or the recruitment system.
• Help prepare candidate summaries and shortlists.
• Follow up with candidates and keep communication professional.
• Assist with posting job adverts and managing responses.
• Support the recruitment team with daily admin and outreach tasks.

Requirements

• Must have your own laptop.
• Must have reliable internet access.
• Sales experience will be an advantage, but it is not compulsory.
• No recruitment experience required; training will be provided.
• Must be comfortable making phone calls.
• Must have good communication skills.
• Must be reliable, organised, and willing to learn.
• Must be confident speaking to new people.
• Must be able to work with targets and follow instructions.
• Basic computer skills required.
