Duties & Responsibilities:

As a Junior Estimator, you will work alongside our Senior Estimating team to support our Sales and Construction teams by reviewing plans & contracts, creating take-offs, reviewing bids and issuing purchase orders to our outside trade partners.

Education & Qualifications:

Degree in Construction Management or equivalent field or office experience.

Familiarity and willingness to learn purchasing & estimating software (such as Hyphen Solutions, Builder MT and/or Sales Simplicity) a plus!

Critical competencies to include:

• residential construction experience, including:
• • specifications, scopes of work, building codes, site/grading plans, and ACC requirements
• intense attention to detail
• problem solving
• strong communication (written & verbal) and organizational skills
• ability to meet deadlines, balancing interests of multiple stakeholders
