Junior RF Electronics Engineer

A specialist engineering consultancy in the Cambridge area is growing its hardware team and wants an RF Electronics Engineer with a few years’ experience.

The role

• Design, simulate, build and test RF circuits and subsystems: amplifiers, filters, synthesisers and front ends.
• Work mainly on radar projects, including mmWave and space applications.
• Help shape requirements with customers who aren’t always radar experts.
• Take designs from concept through to verification in a well-equipped lab.

What you’ll bring

• A good degree in electronic engineering or similar, and some industry experience. This isn’t a graduate role.
• Hands-on RF or microwave design and simulation (e.g. ADS, AWR, HFSS).
• Comfort in the lab with VNAs, spectrum analysers and similar kit.
• Eligibility for UK SC/UKEO clearance.
• Radar, mmWave or consultancy experience is a bonus.
