Junior Sales Engineer

Synergism Concept Sdn Bhd is looking for an energetic and articulate Junior Sales Engineer to join our expanding team in Puchong.

We provide structured product and sales mentorship from day one to help you transition into a confident technical sales professional who understands client needs and presents tailored automation solutions.

Responsibilities

• Client Engagement & Lead Generation: Assist in identifying potential clients, following up on incoming inquiries, and maintaining long-term relationships with contractors, consultants, and facility owners.
• Technical Presentations & Proposals: Support senior engineers in understanding client specifications, preparing technical proposals, and presenting automation solutions (BMS, SCADA, controls).
• Costing & Quotations: Work alongside internal technical and QS teams to prepare competitive project quotations, proposals, and tender submissions.
• Market Research & Networking: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and new technical solutions in building automation.
• Sales Pipeline Management: Keep accurate records of leads, quotations, project statuses, and client interactions.

Qualifications

• Education: Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automation) or a related technical/business discipline.
• Exposure: Basic understanding of building management systems (BMS), electrical systems, or technical sales/customer-facing experience during internships is an advantage, but full on-the-job training will be provided.
• Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills with a customer-focused mindset.
• Attitude: Driven, persistent, self-motivated, and excited to bridge the gap between technical concepts and commercial value.
