JUNIOR SCHOOL EDUCATION SUPPORT OFFICER

• 33.75 hours per week, 39 weeks per year

We are seeking passionate and experienced Education Support Officers to join our Junior School Learning Support team.

Positions available include:

• Permanent position – Diverse Learning Class (2-6 Primary)
• Contract positions – Diverse Learning
• Contract positions – Mainstream Learning Support (Lower and Upper Primary)
• Casual positions
• Job sharing may be considered for the right candidates
• Up to 33.75 hours per week, 39 weeks per year, depending on the position

We encourage applicants who have experience supporting students with complex learning, communication, regulation and behavioural needs. Applicants will need to demonstrate patience, persistence, flexibility, initiative, strong collaboration within a team, positive rapport with students and a heart that desires inclusion with excellence.

Depending on the role, Education Support Officers may also be required to follow students’ Continence Care Plans and Oral Eating Care Plans.

Applicants are required to have a sincere commitment to Jesus Christ, a philosophy of Christian Education and regular church attendance.
