Junior School Science Teacher

Calcutta International School is seeking a passionate and dynamic Science Teacher for the Junior School (Grades 1 5) to foster curiosity, scientific thinking, and experiential learning among young learners through engaging and learner-centric teaching practices.

Eligibility:

• Master s/Bachelor s Degree in Science with B.Ed./D.El.Ed.

• Minimum 3 5 years of teaching experience in primary/junior school

• Strong communication and classroom management skills

• Cambridge or international curriculum experience preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons for Grades 1 5

• Create interactive and activity-based learning experiences

• Assess and monitor student progress and learning outcomes

• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and collaborative classroom environment

• Work closely with colleagues and parents to support student development

• Participate actively in school events, planning, and academic initiatives
