SGD Security – Trainee/Junior Security Engineer – FIRE & SECURITY

We are currently recruiting for a Trainee/Junior Security Systems Engineer.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the installation/service and maintenance of CCTV, Intruder Alarms, Access Control and Fire Alarm systems. You will be working alongside Senior Engineers and will have an allocated personal mentor to help you through your training programme.

We offer first class training, which will include academic and practical teaching alongside a structured career path which will lead to the successful applicant becoming a fully qualified Security Systems engineer.

Requirements:

• Must have a basic knowledge of electrical/electronic systems.
• Must be able to work at heights.
• Would suit current or former electrical apprentices.
• Potential for working away throughout UK.
• Good communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
• GCSE’s or equivalent.
• Full UK driving licence for at least 2 years.
• Must be able to pass a DBS check.
• Positive attitude towards personal development.
