With a strong presence in Hong Kong and across the region, the company is recognized for its operational excellence, technical expertise, and commitment to service reliability.

To support its 24/7 data center operations and continued business growth, they are now seeking a Data Center Operator / Data Center Technician to join the team in Tsuen Wan and Tseung Kwan O.

Job Responsibilities

* Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to support scheduled and ad hoc data center activities

* Perform installation, removal, and maintenance of data center equipment, including structured cabling, rack setup, and general housekeeping

* Handle incidents, perform troubleshooting, and escalate issues to senior engineers or management when required

* Monitor data center facilities including temperature, humidity, air conditioning systems, and fire protection systems

* Monitor systems to identify malfunctions and initiate corrective actions to ensure service continuity

* Support the basic operation of computer systems and associated peripherals

* Maintain accurate asset and inventory records and prepare operational reports

* Manage storage media including hard disks, SSDs, and backup tapes in accordance with security procedures

* Participate in shift-based operations to support 24/7 data center services

* Attend company-provided training workshops and on-the-job training

Job Requirements

* Diploma or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related disciplines (preferred but not mandatory)

* Hands-on experience in data center operations and structured cabling is an advantage

* Basic understanding of data center infrastructure and IT equipment

* Good communication skills in spoken and written English

* Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work independently as well as in a team

* Willing to work on a rotating shift roster covering 24/7 operations

Location & Working Arrangement

* Work locations: Tsuen Wan & Tseung Kwan O

* Monthly working hours: approximately 160 – 168 hours

* Shift duty based on roster to support 24/7 data center operations

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
