Junior Service Engineer

About the Role

Morris Machinery Ltd is looking for a practical and enthusiastic Junior Service Engineer to join our growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in engineering. The successful candidate will support the servicing, maintenance, repair, testing and preparation of equipment within both workshop and customer site environments. Full training will be provided, making this role suitable for someone looking to build their engineering skills and experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with servicing, maintenance and repair of equipment.
• Support fault finding, inspections and testing activities.
• Prepare equipment for customer delivery and collection.
• Assist with equipment installations and commissioning.
• Complete service reports and maintain accurate records.
• Support stores and stock control activities.
• Pick, pack and issue parts for service and production requirements.
• Maintain workshop tools, equipment and work areas.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company procedures.
• Work closely with service, sales, stores and management teams.

Requirements

• Practical and hands-on approach.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Strong willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Mechanical or electrical knowledge would be beneficial but not essential.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.

Pay: £13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
