Junior Site Coordinator

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and organised Junior Site Coordinator cum Driver to join our construction team based in Melaka. This is a full-time position that combines site coordination responsibilities with driving duties, making it ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, hands-on environment. As Site Coordinator cum Driver, you will be instrumental in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations on our construction sites, whilst maintaining the highest standards of safety, communication, and efficiency. You will act as a key link between the site management team, workers, and our head office, ensuring all operations run seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities

1. Coordinate site activities and ensure all daily operations comply with project schedules and safety regulations
2. Maintain accurate site records
3. Liaise with site supervisors, workers to ensure effective communication and coordination
4. Perform transportation duties, including delivery of materials, equipment, and personnel to and from site locations as required
5. Prepare site reports and communicate updates to the project management team
6. Undertake ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Site Supervisor or Project Manager

What We're Looking For

1. Experience in a similar construction support role
2. Valid driving licence with a clean driving record
3. Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, with the capacity to liaise effectively with diverse teams
4. Ability to work independently whilst being responsive to team requirements
5. Reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work
