Hiring: Junior Site Engineer

Location: Chennai
Salary: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month (Based on Experience)

Roles & Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily construction site activities to ensure work is completed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Monitor construction quality and ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and client requirements.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers for smooth project execution.
• Prepare daily progress reports, site documentation, and maintain accurate project records.
• Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure quality standards are consistently achieved.
• Identify technical issues on-site and provide practical engineering solutions to minimise delays.
• Ensure efficient utilisation of manpower, equipment, and construction materials.
• Conduct site measurements, verify completed work, and assist with project planning and scheduling.
• Enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards across the construction site.
• Support timely completion of projects while maintaining quality, budget, and safety objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 0–2 years of experience as a Site Engineer in construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of Interiors, construction methods, site supervision, and quality control.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Good communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD is an added advantage.
• Willingness to relocate.
