Junior Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) / Project Engineer

We are looking for a Junior Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) / Project Engineer to join our project team. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior safety professional to gain practical experience in site safety, project engineering, construction and industrial projects.

The successful candidate will take on SSS responsibilities for projects requiring a Yellow Book. For projects where an SSS/Yellow Book is not required, the candidate will be assigned as a Project Engineer, supporting the execution and coordination of the project.

Key Responsibilities

Site Safety Supervisor – SSS

· Monitor site activities and ensure compliance with DOSH/JKKP requirements, OSHA and company HSE procedures.

· Conduct site safety inspections, toolbox meetings and safety briefings.

· Identify hazards and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.

· Ensure workers and subcontractors comply with safe work practices and PPE requirements.

· Maintain safety records, reports, permits and other HSE documentation.

· Assist with incident reporting and investigation.

Project Engineer

· Assist in planning, coordinating and supervising project activities.

· Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors and site personnel.

· Monitor project progress, workmanship, materials and site activities.

· Review drawings, specifications and technical documents.

· Assist with project documentation, progress reports and site measurements.

· Support the Project Manager in ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule and according to specifications.

Requirements

· Valid DOSH/JKKP Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) – Yellow Book.

· Fresh graduates and candidates with limited site experience are welcome to apply.

· Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety & Health, Construction or a related field.

· Basic knowledge of Malaysian safety and health requirements.

· Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.

· Responsible, proactive and willing to learn.

· Able to work at project sites and travel when required.

· Able to perform both safety and engineering/project coordination duties depending on project requirements.
