Junior Software Developer

About the role

Software Developer role involving writing and maintaining programmable code outlined in technical instructions and specifications for systems and applications.

Key responsibilities

• Write and maintain program code outlined in instructions and specifications in accordance with quality accredited standards
• Revise, debug, or enhance existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements
• Conduct testing of systems and applications to confirm that they will produce the desired information/result
• Compile and write documentation of program development
• Identify and communicate technical problems, processes and solutions
• Work closely with team members to ensure quality and security compliance
• Be responsive to reported issues and provide technical support to users

About you

• Possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineer or related field
• At least 1 year of working experience in related field
• Fluent in both written and verbal English and Chinese language
• Experienced or knowledgeable in JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular, Laravel, CSS, MySQL, PHP
• Have an eye for UI/UX and ability to optimise for performance
• Self-driven, a good team player with initiative and eagerness to pick up new knowledge or technologies
• Ability to perform in a team environment
• Strong passion for programming and research new technologies
• Able to work on a rotational shift basis
