In this position, you will:
- Learn to develop high-performance trading software with C#, Golang and Rust;
- Solve mathematical, algorithmic, and engineering problems;
- Work alongside experienced Software Engineers and Quantitative Researchers;
- Learn how asynchronous and high-performance systems work in practice;
- Investigate performance bottlenecks across software and infrastructure;
- Gradually take ownership of real production systems where microseconds matter.
Requirements
- Strong mathematical and logical problem-solving skills;
- Basic programming knowledge in any general-purpose programming language;
- Ability to break down complex problems and reason about them systematically;
- Strong motivation to learn software engineering and new technical concepts;
- Proficiency in English;
- Availability to work on-site at our Simbiocity Vilnius office.
You will stand out if you have (not required):
- A strong academic background in computer science, mathematics, physics, engineering;
- Achievements in mathematics, informatics, physics, programming, or similar competitions;
- Experience solving algorithmic problems or participating in competitive programming;
- Interesting academic or personal technical projects;
- Exceptional academic results or other achievements demonstrating strong problem-solving ability.
Benefits
- A culture of excellence. Join a team of top-tier engineers and analysts solving hard problems in a fast-moving market.
- Connect, compete, unwind. Regular team-building activities, company events, sports, chess tournaments, game nights, and more.
- Health comes first. Private health insurance included.
- The little things, covered. Fully stocked kitchen and free parking at the office.
Salary
- The salary range for this position is €3,000 – €5,000 gross per month.
- Get rewarded for exceptional impact. Our yearly performance bonuses are uncapped, with significant upside for top performers - potentially exceeding base salary.
If mathematics and hard problems excite you more than routine - we'd love to see your CV.
