Junior Software Engineer

We are seeking a curious and motivated Junior Software Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will contribute to building reliable application code, learning from existing codebases, and utilizing cutting-edge AI-assisted developer workflows under the guidance of senior team members.

Requirements

● Good understanding of basic software engineering and programming fundamentals.

● Ability to write, understand, and modify application code using at least one programming

language.

● Strong willingness to learn new technologies, frameworks, and engineering concepts.

● Good problem-solving and debugging mindset, with the willingness to investigate

problems rather than relying only on trial and error.

● Curious and comfortable asking questions, challenging assumptions, and trying to

understand how and why a system works.

● Basic understanding of APIs, HTTP, JSON, databases, and client-server application

architecture.

● Familiarity with Git and collaborative software development workflows.

● Comfortable reading unfamiliar code and learning from an existing codebase.

● Familiarity with modern AI-assisted or agentic coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex,

Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools.

● Willing and able to understand, review, debug, and validate AI-generated code rather

than using generated code without understanding it.

● Ability to communicate technical problems clearly and collaborate with other engineers.

● Strong sense of curiosity, responsibility, and willingness to continuously improve.

Strong Advantages

● Experience with Go (Golang).

● Experience with Python.

● Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript.

● Experience developing frontend applications using React, Next.js, or similar modern

frontend frameworks.

● Experience developing backend APIs or services.

● Familiarity with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.

● Familiarity with Docker or containerized development environments.

● Basic familiarity with GCP, AWS, or another cloud computing platform.

● Experience building personal projects, university projects, freelance projects,

open-source projects, or production applications.

● Experience using agentic coding tools to explore codebases, implement features, debug

applications, write tests, or improve development productivity.
