Junior Software Java Developer

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree holder
• At least 2 years of experience in Java development
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment

Technical Skills

• Java 8+ and Spring Boot
• REST APIs and Microservices
• PostgreSQL or other relational databases
• Test-Driven Development (TDD)
• Git or SVN
• Node.js is a plus
• Docker/Kubernetes is a plus
• Azure Cloud is a plus
• CI/CD experience is a plus

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain secure backend services, APIs, and databases
• Build scalable and reusable microservices in collaboration with development and frontend teams
• Participate in Scrum meetings, planning, and team discussions
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using best practices
• Develop and execute API tests to ensure code quality and coverage
• Perform application testing before SIT and UAT deployment
• Explore new technologies and conduct POCs when needed
• Work with stakeholders to address technical issues and identify solutions
• Help establish and maintain development standards and best practices
• Recommend process and technical improvements to improv

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term

Pay: Php40,000.00 - Php60,000.00 per month
