Junior Software Technician

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated Junior Software Technician to join our engineering team.

The role involves supporting software development and industrial automation projects using Python, LabVIEW, and TwinCAT (PLC). The successful candidate will work closely with engineers and other team members on software development, system integration, testing, troubleshooting, and project support.

Candidates should have basic knowledge of Python, LabVIEW, and TwinCAT and be willing to learn and develop their skills through hands-on engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and maintain basic Python applications and scripts
• Support development and troubleshooting of LabVIEW applications
• Assist with TwinCAT (PLC) programming, testing, and troubleshooting
• Support software integration with automation systems, equipment, and hardware
• Assist with system testing, debugging, and commissioning activities
• Work closely with engineers and team members to complete projects and resolve technical issues
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation
• Provide general technical and project support when required

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of Python
• Basic knowledge of LabVIEW
• Basic knowledge of TwinCAT / PLC programming
• Basic understanding of programming concepts and debugging
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Able to work effectively in a team environment
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn
• Responsible, proactive, and able to follow through on assigned tasks

Fresh graduates with relevant academic or project experience are welcome to apply.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Structured Text (ST)
• Basic understanding of industrial communication protocols such as OPC-UA, Modbus, or EtherCAT
• Experience working with hardware, sensors, motion control, or data acquisition systems
• Exposure to industrial automation or machine control systems
